I have a few fond memories of Hancock School, Lexington, MA not on account of getting learned in important topics. I don't think I learned the three R's there.

What I remember was making my debut as an artist. Being allowed to sit to the side and do my own projects while the other kids had to learn things I absorbed better by keeping my hands busy.
